Artist Statetment
My work examines the relationship between loss and personal history, as well as the dynamic interplay of time, image, and the body. It extends beyond spatial installations to incorporate historical narratives—particularly those centered on family—while also engaging in the exploration of video and performance art.
I consider artistic creation a crucial act of discovery—one that unveils the body’s connection to micro-histories. Central to my practice is the strategic use of the memory punctum—a singular point where the body and memory converge—serving as a critical lens for reinterpreting the significance of historical imagery within spatial and temporal contexts.
