Este artista visual espanhol estará em residência no ARTErra 2 semanas.
O seu trabalho será dividio em duas partes, uma de documentação e observação recorrendo a esboços e fotografias de Lobão da Beira e arredores. E uma segunda fase de execução de quadros em acrilico e outros materiais. Estes quadros pretendem reflectir sensações e emoções que a paisagem circundante lhe provocaram.

"The project I will perform in the residency will be based on the exploration of the emotional connections

between individual and landscape. It will consist in a series of paintings in acrylic and other media on boards.

My project will follow two phases. Firstly, a visual documentation process will be taken around the

surroundings of Lobao de Beira, making sketches, notes and photographs to be used as a reference for my

paintings. The second phase will consist in the realisation of paintings in the workshop of ARTErra. These

paintings would reflect the sensations and emotions that the landscape of Tondela could generate on me."

Gerda Ritzmann & Erika Diserens (Suiça-CH)- Land Art

Estas duas artistas estarão cerca de duas semanas em residência no ARTErra.
Chegam-nos da Suiça onde já iniciaram colaboração em alguns eventos.
São as duas artístas plásticas e visuais e vêm com uma enorme vontade de aprofundar as suas linguagens artísticas e cooperação.  Explorar o meio ambiente e materiais  que a natureza e envolvência desta zona facultam são o grande ponto de partida para este trabalho.

"Erika and I, both independent artists, nevertheless, have found us to cooperate for

installations. We would like to get involved in new sceneries, experiments and discoveries.

Alone and also together exploring, inspire us mutually and find step by step materials and

resolutions for common projects. We have found out how fruitful such cooperation can be.

As well we like to do experimental research using the print press.

We feel drawn from the picturesque surrounding and scenery of  ARTErra- Residências

Rurais Artísticas and look forwards with pleasure to the challenge to deal with the

uniqueness of this region, to create pieces of art which stay in harmony or in contrast to

nature surrounding.

The way to a common project appears to us exciting and inspiring, we would like to

document it in sketches, models.

The created models and the documentation will remain in ARTErra- Residências."

Christine Le Roux from SA to ARTerra to write

Christine Le Roux é uma escritora sul africana, que procura o ARTErra para poder trabalhar em dois dos seus livros.

Apesar de viver num local bastante tranquilo e isolado, onde muitas vezes também acolhe artistas em residência, sentiu a necessidade de ela própria enquanto artista estar envolvida num contexto diferente e onde pode gerir o seu tempo  com o foco no terminus destes dois livros.

Cornelia Christina le Roux (writing as Christine Barkhuizen le Roux) lives on a farm in the Little Karooin South Africa. This area is in the South Western region of the Cape Province. The nearest town Barrydale is 30km away. Her husband farms with dairy cattle, vineyard and apricots. The area is remote and secluded, which Christine believes, turned her to writing. “I had to make the rocks and the veld my friends – the nearest neighbours are 6 km away. I have a footing in the literary world, but it is good that I can escape and be by myself and the characters I create . . . .”

Sigrid Keunen estará em residência cerca de 2 semanas a desenvolver o seu projecto Crinkles & Crackles.
Esta artista de nacionalidade belga cruza no seu trajecto a música, o teatro, a performance, a composição.

"As a musician, performer, actress & composer, my performance work is hybrid in nature through its dialectics, crossovers and synergies with the fine arts.

During my training as a classical viola player, I took several master classes in Belgium, Swiss and France and I graduated in Antwerp (Belgium) in 1999. I chose to be a freelancer, in order to expand my search for artistic expression, outside the various conventional chamber and symphonies orchestras in which I have worked over the last ten years. Currently I work as a freelance viola player for the Orchestra Philharmonique de Liège (Belgium) and also as a freelance guide in De Munt/La Monnaie (opera theatre in Brussels).

‘Cicerone (guide) of the inner fantasy’ is the title of my current research period (2014-15) and a trajectory that mainly investigates the exploration of an ‘impulse’ within the inner fantasy. (VGC Grant -City of Brussels-)

My Art Education Program is an extension of my working method and this has led me to design two components: SIGI'S BOAT and ‘SHIP OF CREATIVITY’.

I look very much forward to evolve my work-in-progress CRINKLES & CRACKLES  during the residency in ARTERRA.

Evolving the story board.

How to bring out an appropriate correlation in this composition between music, sound, movement and material? How to compound them so in the end it provokes a perpetuum mobile on itself.
